The
Kingsland Community Regeneration Trust was
formerly known as the Kingsland Community
Regeneration Forum began it’s life as a
Haggerston SRB project which was managed by
Renaisi, from 1997 – 2003. As a SRB project
KCRF administered small grants to local
community organisations and arranged public
meetings and activities based on local needs.
Today the
Kingsland Community Regeneration Trust
activities remain focused on local needs
covering two main areas:
·
Employment & Training
·
Community Engagement & Development
Mission Statement
To
promote; regeneration in areas of economic
deprivation throughout London, the relief of
poverty, assistance for employment education
training or retraining especially amongst the
unemployed, and to provide work experience.
To be an
exemplary model of a Community led Regeneration
organisation, whereby local people form an
integral part of the organisation at every
level. To continue to engage local people with
their community so that services and community
activities available reflect real needs of the
people they are meant to serve.
Beneficiaries
KCRT’s
programmes’ intended beneficiaries are adults
and young people 16+ who are disadvantaged due
to cultural, language & skills barriers, lone
parents, the workless, socially inactive, and

actively engage beneficiaries in their community
through their involvement on KCRT’s management
board, where they will have the opportunity to
have their say about project services on offer
in the area.

KCRT has
formed effective partnerships over the last 4
years with both voluntary and statutory partners
